Alex J Alderson CPA
Managing Partner
Alex began his accounting career with Ernst & Young (EY), a Big Four accounting firm, in the Oklahoma City tax practice and while at EY, he passed his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams. Utilizing his experience with EY, he moved back to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to take a tax position at Richard W. Alderson, CPA PC. Alex is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas and also is a member of the American Institute of Public Accounts and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Alex is an avid runner and cycling enthusiast in his down time.
Benjamin Dixon
Bookkeeper
Ben is an accomplished professional with over a decade of experience in finance and accounting, project management, and business advisory, spanning fortune 500 and regional roles. He provides comprehensive client services, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, tax and fee reporting, and general consulting services. Ben is dedicated to offering tailored advice by thoroughly understanding his clients and their businesses, and takes great pride in seeing his clients thrive and view him as a trusted advisor. He is a proud University of Michigan alumnus, and holds an MBA in Finance and Enterprise Resource Planning. Outside of work he enjoys golfing, cycling, and spending time with his wife and their dog, Pepper.
Evan J. Alderson CPA
Tax Partner
Evan started his public accounting career at Ernst & Young (EY), a Big Four Accounting Firm, in the Oklahoma City tax practice. During the first year of his career, he passed his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams. After gaining a wealth of knowledge, he moved back to the DFW area to take a Tax Manager position at Alderson and Alderson, P.C. Evan is a licensed CPA in the State of Oklahoma with reciprocity in Texas. Evan is a decent but devoted golfer and loves spending time with his wife, son, and mini aussie, Tito.
Haleigh Emerson
Office Manager
Haleigh, who graduated from Oklahoma Christian University, is in charge of the office's day-to-day operations. Her duties involve handling client communications and delivering tax returns. Haleigh's expertise lies in communications, marketing, and customer service. She enjoys building strong relationships with clients to provide them the best service possible. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, watching football, and spending time with her husband.
Richard W. Alderson CPA
Partner
Richard is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Texas and a member of the American Institute of Public Accounts and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. His accounting career began with Peat Marwick Mitchell, a Big Eight accounting firm, in the Oklahoma City audit practice. Richard’s experience quickly led him to start his own firm, which he has owned and operated for more than 30 years. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Richard’s hobbies include traveling, relaxing at the lake and running.
